Uses for High Temp Ball Valves

Our high temp ball valves are high quality control valves, which are used on many types of process control applications.  These valves are used in the oil, gas, automotive, chemical, treatment, power processing, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, beverage, and food industries, just to name a few.  These valves can be used manually, or if automation is required, they can come equipped with an ISO direct mounting pad cast on the top of the valve.  The variations of design and material ensure that the correct performance standard can be met for any application.

Our high temp ball valves are superior in design to other types of valves due to their high performance standards.  Some of the different design types include industrial, sanitary, three piece, flanged, double union, two piece, multi-port, grooved end, and high pressure.  These ball valves are well suited to the many different ways that ball valves are utilized in today’s process control applications.

Our high temp ball valves can be actuated with an appropriate electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuator.  These valves use a classic quarter turn style that allows complete control over the process media flowing through.  They provide unrestricted flow when fully opened, and zero leakage when fully closed.  Where applicable, they can also be used with positioners in order to modulate, allowing the ball valves to be used in throttling flow for certain applications.  The ball valve can also provide a multi-port option if the control loop requires an L or T formation, allowing the operator the ability to shut off one or all of the connections.

Our high temp ball valves work very well in situations where they are required to sit unused for long periods of time.  These valves rarely develop problems do to inactivity.  Ball valves come in full port, standard port, and reduced port, so that any flow requirement can be matched to the appropriate ball valve for the process application.  Any flow can also be completely shut off by rotating the valve a quarter turn, either manually or with an actuator.

The regulation of flow must be maintained at a sufficiently linear pace to stay within the specified operating parameters of a process control system. Our high temp ball valves are integral to regulating the control loop, and they directly influence profitability with their performance. Improperly selected valves will prove to be detrimental to the performance of the control loop and safety system.
